With Late Score, Rangers Beat Guardians
|
The Cleveland Guardians and Texas Rangers delighted fans at Globe Life Field.
Ken Chase was on the winning side of a pitcher's duel at Globe Life Field. In fact, the Texas Rangers left-hander was instrumental in his team's 2-1 victory over the Cleveland Guardians. Texas reliever Felix Heredia was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Ken Giles took the loss.
Texas got a knockout punch from Eric Davis. The center fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Chase told the Texas News.
The Rangers go to 24-36 with the win.
