Rockies Lose By a Run at Montreal
The Montreal Expos did just enough to sneak past the Colorado Rockies, 4-3, at Stade Olympique. Montreal pitcher Pat Caraway, in particular, had a standout performance. Caraway picked up the win for Montreal, going 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 5-2. Danny Patterson picked up the save for Montreal, his 6th of the year.

The Expos got a big at-bat from catcher Todd Hundley. For the game, Hundley went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 10th double of the season gave Montreal a 3-0 lead.
