Gary DiSarcina impressed in the 11-5 Milwaukee win over Boston. DiSarcina, who finished 3rd in the AL in triples with 8 in 1998, went 2-3 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 4. Jonathan Broxton, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save. Milwaukee now sits at 26-24, while Boston falls to 19-32.

With Milwaukee trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the fourth, DiSarcina hit a fastball from Brad Halsey for a 2-run double. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Brewers ahead, 5-4.
