Kemp Blasts Mets, Rockies Take Game 4, 4-3
|
In a crucial game, the Colorado Rockies put on their best show, beating the New York (N) Mets by a final score of 4-3. Matt Kemp was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. Colorado and New York (N) are now tied at 2 wins apiece in the best-of-7 affair.
Andres Torres was the walk-off hero for Colorado . With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rockies center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"This game was intense," Kemp said, postgame.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Coors Field in Denver.
