Morgan Blasts Mariners, Twins Take Game 6, 6-4
The Minnesota Twins and the Seattle Mariners will take the League Championship Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Twins beat the Mariners, 6-4, at Rogers Centre to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Minnesota shortstop Bobby Morgan went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 3.

Morgan had an important at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the seventh, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Twins went on to win.

Minnesota manager Dan Hornbaker commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Rogers Centre in Seattle.
