Rangers Take Down Diamondbacks, 7-6
|
Tucupita Marcano did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Arizona Diamondbacks from being beaten, 7-6, to the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field. Marcano was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Texas is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 9th win in 26 games.
Joe Vosmik was the walk-off hero for Texas. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rangers designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
Vosmik described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
