The Montreal Expos knocked off the San Francisco Giants, 4-1, in National League action at Eclipse Park. Montreal pitcher and Baltimore, Maryland, native Dave Boswell had an outstanding performance. Boswell, the winner, moves to 4-1. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 1 walk. With the loss, San Francisco sinks to 11-11.
Mike Moustakas had a direct impact on the outcome. Moustakas contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth inning to put Montreal up, 2-0.
