Rockies Deal Marlins 7-4 Defeat

The Colorado Rockies locked up a win at Miami Park, knocking off the Miami Marlins, 7-4. On the mound for Colorado was right-hander Gerry Janeski. He played a major role in the triumph. Janeski picked up the win for Colorado , going 7.2 innings. He gave up 4 runs on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 12-8. Greg Bollo recorded the save, making him 21 for 23.
With one out in the top of the seventh, Kendrys Morales had a game-changing hit. The Rockies first baseman slammed a run-scoring single off Dave Ford, making the score 6-4, Colorado .
"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Janeski.
The win elevated the Rockies to 95-64.
