The Baltimore Orioles coasted to a win over the Boston Red Sox, 11-2. Dick Stuart had a good day at the plate for Baltimore. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 7. Dave Roberts got the win, improving to 13-14. He worked 6.1 innings, giving up 1 run on 4 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 5. With the win, the Orioles improved to 83-74.
Early in the game, Stuart had a grand slam home run for Baltimore. It was his 63rd home run of the season and put the Orioles on top, 4-0.
"It all comes down to competing and our guys love to compete," said Orioles manager Andre Ivarsson.
