Guardians second baseman Luis Urias left his mark on his team's 5-3 win over the Houston Astros. Urias, who is tied for 10th in the AL in bases on balls with 66, went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Cleveland in the contest. David Wells, who went 7 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 6 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 9-15. Cecil Upshaw recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 1 for 5.
Cleveland grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Urias hit a 2-run home run off Luis Castillo. His 17th home run of the season put the Guardians out in front, 5-3.
Urias called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
