Loss to Rangers Extends Boston Losing Streak
|
The Texas Rangers powered past the Boston Red Sox, 12-3, at Globe Life Field. Eugenio Suárez was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2, to lead the charge. Hector Noesi got the win, improving to 9-12. He held the Red Sox to 3 runs on 5 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. The Rangers have now won 4 straight.
Suárez had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Rangers went on to win.
"We lit up the scoreboard," said Texas manager Kyle Shea.
