Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Chicago (A) White Sox and New York (A) Yankees.

Due in large part to first baseman Daric Barton, the Chicago (A) White Sox sunk the New York (A) Yankees, 4-3. Barton was 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Chicago (A) starter Nathan Eovaldi was credited with the win after throwing 90 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 19-3. Bill Scherrer notched his 29th save in 33 chances.

With Chicago (A) leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Barton hit a curveball from Gary Gentry for a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the White Sox ahead, 3-0.

"I was a little disappointed," said New York (A) manager Brett Fogerson. "We could've and should've scored more runs."

The White Sox, at 91-57, have now won 4 straight.
