White Sox Paste 9-3 Loss on Rangers

At Globe Life Field, the Texas Rangers and Chicago (A) White Sox were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
White Sox third baseman Darrell Evans left his imprint on his team's 9-3 win over the Texas Rangers. Evans went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Chicago (A) in the contest. Nathan Eovaldi was the winner. He's now 18-3. The loser was 22-year old right-handed pitcher Don Durham.
Chicago (A) right fielder Johnny Moore helped the White Sox go up, 4-2, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Moore hit a 2-run single off Texas pitcher Don Durham.
"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Evans. "You've got to get results."
With the victory, the White Sox upped their record to 84-56.
