The Colorado Rockies and starting pitcher Gerry Janeski stifled the Baltimore offense en route to a comfortable 9-0 win at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The Rockies now own a record of 83-57.

Janeski, who dominated for Colorado , earned the victory to move to 9-8. He was in control the whole game, scattering 4 hits over 8.1 innings, while striking out 3. Baltimore batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"We took a roundhouse punch to the chin," said losing manager Andre Ivarsson.
