The Chicago (N) Cubs picked up a win at Wrigley Field, knocking off the New York (N) Mets, 7-5. Starting pitcher Dustin Hermanson was a big reason why. Hermanson yielded 1 run over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 4-2. Hack Wilson had a big 2-run home run for the Cubs in the bottom of the sixth inning. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Cubs on top, 6-1.
