Earl Francis, who finished 2nd in the NL in ERA with 3.27 in 1994, was terrific for the Minnesota Twins in his team's 5-1 triumph over the Cleveland Guardians. His performance earned Francis rave reviews. Minnesota, now 73-59, has won 16 straight games.
