Yankees Suffer 5-2 Home Defeat
|
Charlie Wagner had a strong outing for the Boston Red Sox against the New York (A) Yankees at Yankee Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-2 win. New York (A) is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 8 in a row.
Tom Lampkin helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring single to give Boston a 1-0 lead.
New York (A) manager Brett Fogerson, after yet another defeat, said: "We don't want to panic. At the same time, we need to stop the bleeding."
