Seattle Upended, 3-2, by Milwaukee
|
The Milwaukee Brewers downed the Seattle Mariners, 3-2, at Miller County Field. The Brewers were led by Orlando Miller. Miller was 2-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Shawn Tolleson snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 1.1 innings. He's now 1-1 on the season. Blaine Boyer, credited with the save, is now 1 for 3 in save opportunities.
Miller had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch slider from Max Macon, he banged a solo home run to center, giving the Brewers a 3-2 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Miller.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Seattle manager Tyler Jorgensen said, following the tough loss.
The Brewers sport a record of 43-77.
