Tigers Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Cubs, 7-4
Chicago (N) got a valiant performance from pitcher Kirk Rueter, but it wasn't enough to beat the Detroit Tigers. Detroit won the game, 7-4. Rueter threw 7.2 innings allowing 2 runs for the losing team. Detroit has run its win streak to 5 straight.
