Farrell Now 8-5 After Subduing Rockies
|
New York (A) pitcher Turk Farrell did his part in helping his team defeat the Colorado Rockies, 5-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Sean Marshall earned his 4th save in 10 chances. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Yankees.
Farrell was effective for New York (A), seldom allowing the Rockies to square up a pitch. The right-hander tossed 111 pitches over 8.1 innings. He limited Colorado to just 1 run on 3 hits.
"Turk doing his thing just hyped us all up," said New York (A) manager Brett Fogerson.
