Tejeda Grabs SL2 Reliever of the Year Award Saturday, October 14th , 2000
The manager of the Chesterfield Royals said he always had confidence handing the ball to Robinson Tejeda out of the bullpen.
The 29-year-old was a dominant performer all year for Chesterfield and his efforts have been rewarded with the Sub League 2 Reliever of the Year Award for 2000.
The bullpen ace had an impressive 1.44 ERA this season, with 22 saves in 49 relief appearances. He fanned 107 batters in 94 innings and sported a record of 8 wins and 2 losses.
