Best SL1 Reliever Named Saturday, October 14th , 2000 His manager and teammates call Chuck Estrada a true bullpen ace. The Sub League 1 calls him the winner of the Reliever of the Year Award for 2000. The Glendale Herons relief specialist out of San Luis Obispo, California, won the award with 24 saves in 58 relief appearances, 115 strikeouts in 103.2 innings and 52 walks. He compiled a record of 7 wins and 4 losses and had a 2.60 ERA. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ron Moeller of the Kattegat Val'kyr finished second in voting, while Sergio Valdez of the Henderson Arrows finished third.
