This Week's Star Player is Tatum Monday, August 28th , 2000 It was an extraordinary week for Jim Tatum of the Honolulu Pioneers. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .588, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Sub League 1. Last week Tatum went 10-for-17, racked up 1 home run and 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Honolulu first baseman. At present, Tatum is batting .261 with 98 hits and 11 home runs. He has knocked in 52 runs and scored 52 times. |
