Honolulu Won't Make Playoffs Friday, August 25th , 2000 The Honolulu Pioneers playoff hopes were already minuscule at best, but even those faint hopes have been dashed. The team was mathematically eliminated from the playoffs today. This is the club's 4th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1996. In total, the Pioneers have missed the playoffs 20 times in their 21-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Pioneers have only made the playoffs once. |
