Henderson Eliminated from Playoff Contention Monday, August 21st , 2000 Any hopes of a playoff berth for the Henderson Arrows this season were already a long shot at best. But even the longshot hopes are now gone, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Arrows have missed the playoffs 17 times in their 21 years as a MLB Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 1991. In the last 10 seasons, the Arrows have only made the playoffs once. |
