Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Reno Wednesday, August 16th , 2000 Any hopes of a playoff berth for the Reno Aces this season were already a long shot at best. But even the longshot hopes are now gone, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. In their 21 seasons in MLB Triple A, the Aces have still yet to qualify for the playoffs. |
