July's Best SL2 Hurler is Tejeda Tuesday, August 1st , 2000 Tough in the clutch -- that's a bullpen specialist. And one of the best in the league is Robinson Tejeda of the Chesterfield Royals. Tejeda was outstanding in July and was named the Pitcher of the Month in the Sub League 2. Chesterfield's star reliever held the opposition to a .119 average and put up 5 saves and 24 strikeouts in 18 innings with a 3-0 mark and a 0.00 ERA. Looking at his season stats to date, Tejeda has 17 saves in 37 relief appearances with a 7-0 mark and 1.29 ERA. |
