Glendale Snaps Pepper Streak at 25 Wednesday, June 28th , 2000 Lady Luck was not on the side of Ray Pepper or his teammates at Herons Park. Everything went the way of the Glendale Herons, who not only came away with the 5-1 victory over Oklahoma City, but also held Pepper hitless in 4 at-bats to put an end to his 25-game hitting streak.
