New York (N) Moves on to World Series

In an exciting League Championship Series that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is Fellowship of Respect and Trust fans who have come out the winner.
But on the field, the winners were the New York (N) Mets, who edged the Chicago (N) Cubs 4-3 to advance to the World Series.
New York (N) won the final game by a 6-3 count to wrap up the series. Dick Allen earned series MVP honors, by hitting .280 with a .400 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 3 runs.
The New York (N) Mets will play against the Milwaukee Brewers in the next round. Milwaukee won their series against the Detroit Tigers 4 games to 3. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
