Tigers Heading to League Championship Series

The Detroit Tigers have eliminated the Seattle Mariners and are off to the League Championship Series.
Detroit won the final game by a 5-3 score and thus clinched the series 4-1.
"We think this is our year, but we're taking it one game at a time," said Merritt Ranew, who was named series MVP.
For the series, Ranew hit .250 with a .318 on-base percentage. He drove in 8 RBI and scored 4 runs.
The Detroit Tigers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Chicago (A) White Sox - Milwaukee Brewers series. Milwaukee leads the series 3 games to 1. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
