Great Week for Cleveland's Clay Dalrymple Monday, October 2nd , 2000 It was an extraordinary week for Clay Dalrymple of the Cleveland Guardians. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .519, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the American League. Last week Dalrymple went 14-for-27, racked up 3 home runs and 10 RBIs and scored 7 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Cleveland catcher. Dalrymple is hitting .319 for the season with 28 home runs, 99 RBIs and 85 runs scored. He has 156 hits in 489 at-bats and played in 148 games. |
