Super Month Nets Stuart #1 Batter Prize in AL Sunday, October 1st , 2000 At only 24 years of age, Dick Stuart could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Baltimore Orioles, as September was one to remember for the first baseman and he has captured the American League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .379 with 13 home runs, 30 RBIs and 20 runs scored. To date this season, Stuart is hitting .314 with 47 home runs. |
