No Playoff Berth Coming for Colorado Wednesday, September 20th , 2000 There will be no playoff celebration in the Colorado Rockies clubhouse this year, as the club was today officially eliminated from contention. Colorado last appeared in the postseason in 1996. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 15 times in their 21-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Rockies have made the playoffs 2 times. |
