Cleveland Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Wednesday, September 13th , 2000 Despite their best efforts, the Cleveland Guardians were officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Cleveland last appeared in the postseason in 1994. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 17 times in their 21-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Guardians have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
