Siebern Picked AL Player of the Week Monday, June 5th , 2000 It was an extraordinary week for Norm Siebern of the Minnesota Twins. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .476, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the American League. Last week Siebern went 10-for-21, racked up 5 home runs and 6 RBIs and scored 9 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Minnesota right fielder. Thus far this year, Siebern has hit .316 with 13 home runs and 26 RBIs. |
