Romano goes 4-for-5 to Fuel Brewers Offense
A 3-RBI performance from Johnny Romano, who finished 2nd in the AL in home runs with 39 in 1998, helped the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Colorado Rockies, 11-5. Ed Hanyzewski earned the win, while 23-year old right-handed pitcher Darrell Rasner took the loss for Colorado . Milwaukee is now 65-33, 6½ games up in the American League.

Early in the game, Romano had a 3-run home run for Milwaukee. It was his 21st home run of the season and put the Brewers on top, 3-0.

"Hustle and hard work is a big part of our success," said Romano. "Those qualities define our team."
