Griffey Stars for Phillies in 14-12 Win
Philadelphia right fielder Ken Griffey had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Miami Marlins, 14-12. Ken Howell closed it out for his 20th save. The Phillies raised their record to 45-41.

Philadelphia needed the clutch hitting of Frank White to seal the deal. The first baseman swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Phillies on top, 14-12. For the game, White had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Griffey.
