Philadelphia Downed, 4-2, by Marlins
|
Behind an impressive start by Boom-Boom Beck, Miami beat Philadelphia, 4-2. Buck Farmer closed it out for his 10th save. Miami currently is in last place in the National League at 32-52.
Miami went in front, 4-2, on Alex Dickerson's 13th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Dickerson hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Philadelphia pitcher Tyler Danish visibly perturbed.
Dickerson called the win "a collective effort."
