Losing Trend Continues for Texas
|
Jesse Litsch could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Texas Rangers lost, dropping a 2-1 decision to the Baltimore Orioles at Globe Life Field. Heath Hembree, credited with the save, is now 1 for 2 in save opportunities. The last-place Rangers have lost 7 consecutive games.
Dick Stuart, who is tied for 10th in the AL in hits with 85, had a direct impact on the outcome. Stuart contributed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Baltimore up, 2-0.
"We certainly don't want to get used to losing," said losing manager Kyle Shea.
