The Minnesota Twins topped the New York (A) Yankees, 12-2, the lion's share of the credit going to second baseman Manny Trillo. On the day, Trillo went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Twins. The win puts Minnesota at 39-38 this season.
