Gentry Throws 3-Hitter En Route to 4-1 Yankees Win
|
Pitcher Gary Gentry was sensational for the New York (A) Yankees in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Texas Rangers. Gentry earned the win. The Yankees raised their record to 5-3.
Gentry earned the win, going 9 strong innings for New York (A). The native of Phoenix, Arizona, allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 7. Texas hitters did next to nothing against the right-hander.
"I still think this team can play even better," Gentry told the New York (A) Chronicle.
