Orioles Bridle Giants, 2-1
The Baltimore Orioles went home winners at Eclipse Park, thanks in large part to starter Kevin Tapani. Tapani stifled the San Francisco Giants, enabling Baltimore to grab the 2-1 win. With the victory, the Orioles record stands at 29-41.

The Orioles benefited from a costly error in the top of the eighth. With Bobby Brown at bat and Baltimore leading 1-0, the San Francisco miscue allowed Baltimore to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.

"Kevin had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said Baltimore manager Andre Ivarsson.
