The Seattle Mariners knocked off the Boston Red Sox, 6-2, in American League action at Fenway Park. Seattle pitcher and Apopka, Florida, native Logan Gilbert had an outstanding performance. Seattle now sits at 34-29, while Boston falls to 30-32.

The Mariners got a big at-bat from shortstop Glenn Wright. For the game, Wright was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 16th home run of the season gave Seattle a 2-0 lead.
