Baltimore Orioles starter Ron Kline turned in an exceptional performance against the New York (A) Yankees at Yankee Stadium, resulting in a Baltimore win, 6-2. Jonny Venters finished the game for Baltimore and earned his 11th save. The win puts Baltimore at 20-36.

Kline was effective against the Yankees, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited New York (A) to just no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings.
