|
The San Francisco Giants picked up a win at Miami Park, downing the Miami Marlins, 4-1. On the mound for San Francisco was right-hander Phil Ortega, who played a pivotal role in the win. Ortega yielded 1 run over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 6-5. With the win, San Francisco upped its record to 30-27.
