Brewer Dominant in Milwaukee Win
|
The Milwaukee Brewers got great pitching from former first round draft pick Tom Brewer, allowing them to bump off the Cleveland Guardians, 2-0. Jonathan Broxton finished to wrap up his 15th save. The Milwaukee win streak is now 3 games.
Brewer gave Milwaukee a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8.1 innings.
"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Brewer told the Milwaukee Citizen. "Whatever it takes."
