Cordero 3-for-4 to Ignite Astros Offense

The Houston Astros dealt the Minnesota Twins a 6-5 loss at Minute Maid Park. Wil Cordero was the star on offense. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The win was credited to David Sanders in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Joe Bonikowski took the loss. Bob Kline earned save number 1 this season.
Had Brayan Pena not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Pena hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Astros.
