Wet weather did not postpone the New York (N)-Colorado ballgame.

The New York (N) Mets topped the Colorado Rockies, 9-3, in National League action at Coors Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of New York (N) designated hitter Beau Bell. New York (N) has now won 15 games in a row.

New York (N) used the hitting of Frank Robinson to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Mets on top, 3-0. For the game, Robinson had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
