Boswell Baffles Miami Batters
Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Miami Marlins as starter Dave Boswell shut them out, 13-0, at Stade Olympique. The Montreal pitcher struck out 11 and walked 1 while allowing 4 hits.

"Boswell was good but he wasn't flawless," Miami manager Bobby K said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Montreal, but this is on us."

Boswell has a 2-4 season record so far. In 8 starts, he has fanned 59 batters in 53.1 innings with a 4.56 ERA.
