Host Brewers Drop Pivotal Game 5, Now Trail Series 3-2
New York (N) left fielder Frank Robinson was the key at Miller County Field, as he powered the Mets to victory in a critical Game 5 of the World Series. The Mets took the 9-5 win over the Milwaukee Brewers to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Robinson had a key at-bat in the top of the first to put New York (N) in front, 3-0. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run off Milwaukee pitcher Tom Brewer.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Robinson.

Game 6 is scheduled for Sunday at Shea Stadium in New York.
